The letters "KO" in the catalogue
numbers refer to the initials of "Le kiosk d'Orphee" in Paris, which is credited with the transcriptions.
The "KO" series continued after the
1977 releases with -
An
be no don. Nous sommes tous coupables. Musique Originale du Film. KO
80.06.16. [1980]
Dununya
laban / Falalu / Mamaya / Jigi / Laban kasi / Sababu jugu.
The above release does not have the Mali Kunkan logo, though it has all the hallmarks of a Kunkan release, including crediting "Le kiosque d'Orphée" with the transcriptions. No actual distribution company is mentioned at all - the disc label features a drawing of a man playing a trumpet. Any further information would be appreciated.
Flemming Harrev indicates a further release -
National Badema du Mali. "Nama". Ivoire Polydisc. IP 8300. [1983}
Nama / Fognana kuma / Namory.
This album featured the Mali Kunkan logo on the label as well as Ivoire Polydisc.
