The "Radio Africa"
website has been online since 1999.
Initially, the Radio Africa hosted the content of a public radio programme of the same name,
which I hosted and which was broadcast weekly for 5 years on station
3CR
in Melbourne.
In the early 2000's Radio Africa had grown into its own url and
the website was expanded to include discographies of West African recording
labels and a series of reviews of "African classics" - recordings of
African music long out of print.
The website continues to expand and now features
25+ discographies, rare video recordings, rare audio recordings, publications and
links to my sound archive projects in Africa.
