N'Dardisc discography

Vinyl records by the Senegalese label

The N'Dardisc recording label was created by Louis Fourment who sold the records through his "La Radio Africaine" stores in Dakar and Saint Louis. It was the first regional commercial recording label to release West African music
, predating Syliphone and Safie Deen.

Dating the N'Dardisc recordings is difficult as a catalogue is absent. In December 1967 Alan P. Merriam wrote that N'Dardisc had issued a large number of 10" 78 rpm records, "and within the past year the first five records in a 12" LP series" ("Music", Africa Report, Vol. 13 no. 2, February 1968, p. 6).  Further information on the N'Dardisc 78 rpm discs would be particularly welcome.
